He established a history of developing premier basketball programs that are recognized for their competitive success. Six of his select players from the 2023-34 season are signed to play at Division I schools next year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quinet stepped up to coach the Saints summer basketball program and is fresh off a successful weekend at the Section 7 Tournament, where the Saints advanced to the semifinals of the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) Amazon Bracket.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI\u2019m very happy to be hired at Notre Dame Prep and to work with this group of kids and see what we can do,\u201d he says.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/christian.mywebpreview.co.uk\/scottsdalenewsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Notre-Dame-Preparatory-High-School-Hires-Veteran-Basketball-Coach-Brad-Quinet-img1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brad Quinet. Courtesy Notre Dame Preparatory High School<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBrad fully understands and supports the mission and values of NDP,\u201d says NDP Athletic Director Mike Mahon. \u201cBy employing our core values of Reverence, Respect, and Responsibility into his basketball teachings, he prepares student-athletes to be good men. His guidance creates and fosters an environment that promotes the vision of all stakeholders involved in the program.\u201d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bringing a \u201cTeam First\u201d mentality to the Saints, Quinet is already making plans to hire his assistant coaches, and ensuring that every level of NDP basketball is top-notch and works together. His plan is to emphasize teamwork and tough defense.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIf we can be the most defensive team on the court and share the basketball, we will be successful wherever we go,\u201d Quinet says.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to teaching basketball skills and teamwork, the new coach says he will make prayer a priority before and after all games and practices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFaith is a huge part of the players\u2019 success as human beings and it\u2019s important to know that we are doing this for more than just ourselves,\u201d he says.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notre Dame Prep is a Catholic diocesan college preparatory high school with a co-ed enrollment of 1,010 students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quinet lives in Scottsdale with his wife and their two sons, one of whom will be a senior on the NDP basketball team this coming season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">9701 E.
