Scottsdale’s Silver Sky Development Breaks Ground on Luxury Community in Paradise Valley

Luxury home developer Silver Sky Development recently celebrated its official groundbreaking with appearances by Paradise Valley Town Mayor Jerry Bien-Willner and Vice Mayor Mark Stanton.

Silver Sky is a 12-parcel neighborhood situated on 18 acres and  located at the base of Mummy Mountain. It marks Paradise Valley’s newest and most exclusive luxury community. With the streets recently paved and the infrastructure now complete, Silver Sky Development plans to begin building homes this summer, starting with an award-winning $18 million showcase home called Nova. 

Designed by Stratton Architects, Nova is an 11,965-square-foot classic European estate featuring six bedrooms, ten bathrooms and a large wellness center with a sauna, steam and cold plunge. The home also features a private backyard pickleball court. It will be followed in construction by a 9,000-square-foot resort-style estate, Aquarius, designed by Drewett Works, which features 17-foot floor-to-ceiling glass doors that pocket into the walls, opening the home entirely to stunning views along with a large rooftop viewing deck.

Silver Sky is being brought to life by developers Heriberto Velasquez and Jeremy Takas.

“We are so excited to begin construction and take these next steps toward our vision to create a luxury residential community featuring world-class architecture on some of the last vacant land in Paradise Valley,” says Takas. “It’s been an honor to have played a role as we have reshaped the fingerprint of this incredible town.”

Four parcels are already under contract. Only one lot remains available for buyers seeking to build within the Silver Sky walls, a 1.5-acre flat corner lot currently listed for $5 million.
