Scottsdale Fashion Square’s Back-to-School Event on Aug. 3: Fashion Shows, a Model Search, Exhibits
By Joan | July 16, 2024
Scottsdale Fashion Square is holding its annual Back-to-School Style Event on Sat., Aug. 3, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Palm Court.
The shopping center’s Palm Court will offer events and activities to get the whole family energized for an exciting new year. Fashion shows at 1 and 2 p.m. will highlight this year’s top styles from popular retailers including Macy’s, Tilly’s, Windsor, Levi’s, and Guess. In addition, Style Stations featuring Sephora, Macy’s, Lush, Bobbie Marie, and Retail Therapy will let guests get hands-on with products, techniques and advice to help students look and feel their best as they head back to school.
Phoenix Boys Choir will kick off the event by performing the National Anthem. There will also be additional musical entertainment from a DJ (get ready for some dance battles, too!), and guests can also stroll an impressive photography exhibit by Kids In Focus, a local nonprofit that equips kids with essential life skills to make the shift from surviving to thriving. Representatives from the American Heart Association will also be on hand, sharing nformation from the association’s Healthy Hearts program, which supports active lifestyles among kids and teens.
The celebration is hosted in partnership with FORD/Robert Black Agency, which is holding an open call model search for ages 5 to 25 throughout the event on the Lux Balcony. The agency will be scouting for all genders, races and sizes, and no experience is necessary. The model call will run throughout the event.
