Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia Unveils Multimillion-Dollar Renovation
By Michelle Glicksman | September 26, 2023
Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation. The resort now boasts newly redesigned guest rooms and meeting spaces that blend Spanish-inspired elegance with the tranquility of the desert.
The extensive renovation project, which began in June 2023, included the resort’s 293 guest rooms and 38 luxury suites. From cozy sofas adorned with cactus silk pillows to Spanish-inspired desk chairs, every piece was selected to embody the concept of an oasis in the desert. Homemade ceramics and fresh artwork add an artistic touch inspired by local culture.
There is also a new RFID door lock system, decorative bedding, LED mirrors, and modern bathroom accessories.
The destination now offers over 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event spaces. The venues range from salons and ballrooms to parlors and patios, many with stunning views of Arizona landscapes. Unique offerings include the Castillo Lucena, a replica of an Andalusian Chapel, and an outdoor Chef’s Kitchen, which serves as a place for cooking demos or to service lawn receptions.
The locale maintains its authentic Spanish design inspiration, and the updated meeting spaces are outfitted with new carpeting, wall coverings, and paint, creating a contrast between light walls and dark ceilings. Additionally, brand-new artwork and furniture is displayed throughout the spaces.
“This reimagination of our guest rooms and meeting spaces is just another example of how we are constantly evolving and improving to meet the needs of our guests,” says Rob Goins, general manager of Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia.
